Account StatusThis first tier – built on FedNow – validates status and covers 100% of accounts in the U.S. Verifying account status fulfills Nacha requirements by determining whether an account is open, valid, and ready to send/receive payments. Unlike microdeposits, we don’t rely on end users, eliminating customer friction.
Account ControlThis second tier is 160x faster than microdeposits and ensures the user has control of the account, combatting Reg E fraud. Verify drops a code into the account and prompts the user to authenticate it.
Account OwnershipThis third tier determines for business and consumer accounts whether the name provided matches data tied to the account being verified. Optional additional fields include Phone Number, SSN, and Tax ID to enhance payment certainty.
